Santa Teresa is a small and beautiful coastal town in Costa Rica with a special charm that will conquer you, an energy that cannot be described but that will make you feel immensely happy.

Each day is unique at Santa Teresa, but we usually start with a delicious breakfast and then get into the water to enjoy a morning full of palm trees, crystal water and perfect waves.

After the first surf session of the day, it is the best time for a nice read in the hammock, relax and enjoy nature by the pool or walk 5 minutes to the beach. In the afternoon it’s time for the next surf session and to watch the most beautiful sunset
in the world in our opinion.

At the end of the day, we will have dinner at one of Santa Teresa’s fantastic restaurants to reload energy to begin the next day.

Your Host, Bri Surfs

Hi! I’m Bri and I’ve been surfing for 3 years now!

I currently live and surf in California, this is where I say I “formally” learned to surf.

My first board was a wavestorm, and now I am riding short and mid-length boards.

FAQs

We recommend aerobic exercise such as swimming or running. When you book your spot, we provide you with a practical “Surf Training Program” designed by the Blueroad team as a free gift.

If you’re a beginner, you won’t need to bring a surfboard or wetsuit as we provide these based on your skill level, weight, and height, along with a wetsuit suitable for the water temperature. For Morocco, a 3/2mm wetsuit is ideal. If you’re an intermediate surfer who typically uses your own board and feels comfortable with it, we recommend bringing it (as well as your wetsuit). However, if we find that your board isn’t suitable, we’ll provide an alternative.

Paying 20% of the total trip through our website or the link we send you. You have 48 hours of free cancellation

You have to fly to Agadir Al Massia airport, a 1-hour drive from our accommodation in Taghazout.

The Moroccan authorities have lifted all COVID-19-related restrictions.

Travelers from many countries do not need a Visa to visit Morocco for up to 90 days. You can check if you need a Visa and how to apply for it (if you need one) on the following link: https://www.acces-maroc.ma/#/

IMPORTANT: You need a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months.

To benefit from the free shuttles included in our packages, you should arrive at Agadir airport on the date planned in our camps. There will be two transfer timings available on the arrival day: 11:30 am, 4:00 pm, and 10:00 pm from Agadir airport.

The return shuttle will depart on the day of departure after the check-out at 10:30 am.

Notice that check in is at 2:00pm and check out at 12:00pm.

We can arrange for a shuttle to take you from the airport to the hotel (additional fees).

The temperature is around 20 degrees during the day and may drop to 13/14 degrees at night. Raining is quite low during February, but a good amount of rain can fall when it does. We recommend bringing some hoodies, a rain jacket, and long pants.

The official currency of Morocco is the dirham. The nearest exchange offices and ATM are in Aourir, a 12-minute drive from our accommodation. The shuttle will stop at an exchange office and ATM to enable you to change euros to dirhams or withdraw money.

We recommend bringing €200 and a debit/credit card.

We are situated at Mouja Surf Camp, a beautiful and modern Moroccan-style lodge, 4 minutes walk from the sea.

The rooms are for 3 people maximum with private bathrooms. Ask for the option of a private room if you want it (additional fee and subject to availability).

Yes, we do, this is our schedule. However, we know that it is a vacation and everyone is free to do what they want. If you are tired and want to miss a surf session it is obviously not mandatory.

Yes, Morocco has some of the best waves in the world for all levels of surfing. You’ll learn to read the ocean, paddle, and pop up on a board to surf green waves. You’ll be coached by our professional team trained in Australia.
